Bulldog Life & Residence Halls
Our residence halls are an environment conducive to the achievement of your academic goals and we strive to make your stay on campus stress-free, safe, and fun. During your stay with us, you will have the opportunity to get involved in on-campus activities, to meet a lot of new people, and to contribute to the community at UMW.
There are four residence halls and one family housing complex at Montana Western. Three of the four residence halls, referred to as “JDC” are connected. Those three are Jordan, Davis, and Centennial Halls. The fourth is Mathews, which also houses the dining facility and has suites and apartment-style options.
Our office is located in the Student Union Building- stop by or call 406-683-7565 to meet our friendly staff and get your questions answered about living and dining on campus!
- The Bulldog Card is your key to student life at the University of Montana Western. It will give you access to the gymnasium, cafeteria, library, and much more. Just about every service on-campus will require a swipe of your Bulldog Card, so it’s important to pick one up as soon as you arrive.
- Paw Prints for Success is an incentive program for our University of Montana Western students. Paw prints are earned by engaging in campus activities (both academic and extra-curricular).
- At the end of every semester, students use their Paw Prints to bid at a live auction with great prizes like 50’’ TVs, Scholarships, Video-Game consoles, a free stay in the residence halls, and much more!
