As part of the Experience One immersive educational model, our students engage in a variety of high-impact practices in their course work, as well as completing internships at a variety of state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, laboratories, and other state, local, and national groups which often lead to employment, often in place before graduation.

Our students also have an immediate leg-up on pursuing graduate studies since they already have a portfolio of real-world experience ready to showcase as part of their application process. Graduates from Montana Western have gone on to veterinary, medical, dental, and law school at institutions across the country including Notre Dame, Penn State, Creighton University School of Law, the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and Colorado State.
